 ahah, so that was the problem. of course, why couldn't we figure it out? judd and waite are just dragging everyone else down.

some of the most inspiring logic i have ever heard.

We've played the last five years without Jezza, Sticks, Big Nick, Diesel and Bruce Doull and we haven't managed to lift in too many games.

I think you're the one with the flawed logic Mel

Its easy to lift for one game, not for an entire season.

Judd Rumours Grow

This should stir up this thread a bit.

Should never have played in the hall of fame exhibition game and maybe could have also done with an extra weeks rest the week after as well.

I see no harm in resting Juddy and getting him right for our assault on season 2009. We know his capabilities, we know what he offers so lets get some time into some youngsters and the belief we can be competitive with out Judd

The interesting part from that article was Ratts saying "Judd would play against the Cats barring any setback today during the team's main training session for the week" he might twinge hammy during the training session

Maybe he needs to be told he will have to sit out the next few weeks or so.

I can't even imagine the hysteria on TC, the media and BigFooty if Judd misses a game.

Do I get a ban if I say I agree with Melvey?

Look... there are no finals this year, but I reckon there will be in 2009. Why wouldn't we rest Judd for as long as it takes and get him completely and utterly right for next season. Yeah, he is an expensive contract to have on the sidelines, but we brought him over to lead us in finals and provide premiership experience. It won't hurt the lads to learn how to play without him out there either in case any injuries arise over the coming seasons.

If the club come out and say he is a little sore and needs a rest as he has been busting his guts now for 10 weeks not skipped a beat with out a preseason.

He could be suffering general soreness all over but it didn't look good when he tried to get up after a mark or tackle and clearly he was in some pain.

He is a valuable commodity and lets not run the risk of running him into the ground. Season 2009 is going to be a good one for us and we want all our players up and running

I'd rest him for this weeks match against the Cats....we won't win anyway and playing on the hard Telstra Dome surface wouldn't be doing his groin any favours.

Got no problem with resting him for the Geelong game.

After all we have got 4 very winnable games in a row coming up at the MCG soon.

Resting him now and freshening him up might be the difference between winning and losing a couple of those games.

If a double dud like Kepler Bradley can baulk Judd and leave him flat footed than I dont need any other proof that he is hurting and should be rested.

Methinks Mike has been reading TC again.

i think that's a little unfair as bradley is playing good football with new surroundings and playing in his home state....the guy is in form and playing good football.
