I've already been on the phone to the AFL about this farce. This Saturday - Geelong Social Club members have been designated seats in the AFL members...disgraceful. They did the same with St.Kilda Social Club members at the Essendon* game at Telstra...what's the point of having an AFL membership when a Social Club member (and I don't care what team it is) can sit in a seat that is rightfully yours?? As I said to the woman on the phone "There's a reason it's called the 'AFL members' area".

Little advise Dr, the AFL will blame Collo/TD and TD will blame AFL, and you'll give up and get no-where.

It's ok guys.

The AFL's 'best fit policy' will see the game transferred to the 'G'.

I guess so, providing it doesn't sell out.

If you have a credit card you can login to the ticketmaster website and get seats on level 3 for like $5. I think they're on the wing right behind were the Carlton reserved away seating is aswell.

Yes, you'll definitely have to reserve a seat - your membership gets you entry into the ground, but you have to have a reserved seat as well.

I'd do it before the game - to ensure yourself of a seat. As Pklz said, you can get seats on the wing on Level 3 behind the Carlton away reserve seat block for about $3-5 and the best bit is you'll be sitting right near me.

Tends to be Aisles 12 and 11, not sure about any more and then from Rows A-F or something like that

Cool...Aisle 15, Row Q is the current 'best available', so we'll be nearby.

......now hang on a minute whilst I puke ........... damn no vomit emoticon ....

AFL Members - yep right - it has really AFL pre-paid ticket holders for about 10 years now. We pay $12,000,000 up front to the AFL each season for the privilege of buying reserved seat tickets in our own members reserve.

And if someone tells me we shouldnt have a membership area at TelstraDome - let me remind you that the $30 million that the AFL have paid to the owners of Telstra Dome (which will mean that the AFL will own this piece of real estate in another 25 years) came from the funds from the sale of VFL Park Waverley - which was funded and paid for in no small way by VFL/AFL Members.

AFL Members have been shown no respect by the likes of:

- Ron Evans.
- Wayne Jackson
- Andrew Demetrispew

and the other members of this neo-nazi style organization called the AFL.

As soon as the MCC membership comes through - I am wiping my arse with my AFL Members Card and sending it back to the current turd in charge of the AFL - who famously had this too say about AFL Membership:

"if you dont like the AFL Membership package, dont renew, the competition will still go on"

this is how much Andrew Demetrispew cares for AFL Members, its about how much he cares for Football Club Members and its about how much he cares for the average football supporter.
