The interview has been done and the article is now up on the Blueseum. An interesting chat with an ex-Blue Bird.

Click this link: Hello Bluebird

In the picture in the article Elizabeth is the one sitting on the ground.

This particular sentence caught my eye:

"We had different arrears before the match so never saw them match days."

You certainly did Elizabeth, you certainly did.

Elephant stamp to anyone who can reference the origin of the article title without googling it.

If not Nissan, I'd go for Judy Garland. :P

Good work J. I think the Bluebirds deserve a full image gallery on the site - if any posters have old pics I'll set it up and we can add them in.

Warby - are there any Bluebirds pictures in your memories thread?

If anyone has the contact details for former player Rod Galt - I am sure he would have some great photos as he took a lot of the promotional photos for "The Bluebirds" when they started back in the late 70s.

I had one of the original posters that the club sold - and I am sure as eggs he did the photography for it.

Bugger, Bugger, Bugger, Bugger - my mother threw them out.

Don't know the exact contact details for Rod Galt, however he received a mention in the Brisbane papers a few weeks back regarding his owning of two properties on the exclusive Hedges Ave strip, Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast.

Mr Galt is Mr Millions!!

Nah...I don't collect Bluebirds pictures... :-D

The gallery now has the pictures set up though. If you find any more please add them directly or PM me to add. I've also added a link to Jarusa's article and I'm sure it will be back on the homepage soon for reading.
