Passing on to those interstate or OS, comments from interview on MMM before todays game. Those that I remember anyway.

Fev - wants to stay, we want him to stay
- will offer a multi-year contract
- injury free player (touch wood) who should play for another 5 - 6 years
- talk of $2.5 mill over 3 years is nonsense

Ground Redevelopment
- received Planning Approval a few weeks ago, now in "any objections" stage (my words)
- expects demolition of stands to commence in June

Kreuzer - fantastic young man, but very quiet

Kerr - appeared not very interested in him
Brown - would be interested, but not at any cost, as he is 27 y.o., whereas Judd was only 24

Any word of a demolition sale?

If so, I'd appreciate any help with freightage to Brisbane. :)

I believe reserve seat holders from the Heatley Stand can buy the seat that sat in. Article in the paper the other day.

Brown isn't going anywhere. I can almost promise that... I just hope the Pies have a stab at him - 'cos they'll be disappointed again...

Interesting comments about Brown.

There has been a fair amount of talk linking him to the Blues. One poster who called the Judd move well before it was made public, said a few months back Brown will come to Carlton too.

I know Swann's comments were not a revelation, but if you really think about it, he could be subtly setting the expectations for a Brown trade, ie: at 27 he is not worth the kitchen sink.

Can't see us getting Brown. However, I will be absolutely gobsmacked if we do.

It's hard to see Brown leaving the Lions and I expect him to sign a deal with them.

The site should start demolition/construction by the end of June.

The construction manager/builder appointment should be finalized within the next 2 weeks.

With Chris Judd and Jonathon Brown in our side - Brown would have plenty of opportunity to bookend his career with a Premiership Treble:

2010 - 29 years of age
2011 - 30 years of age
2012 - 31 years of age

Nice way for Stephen Browne to start off his career as well. 8)

Wow, a six time premiership player. The only other that i can think of that could match that would be Barrassi. Pretty sure Mathews, Brereton only played in 5.

He truly would be THE lucky charm.

I very doubt that Brown will be playing in Victoria next year, pretty sure that he will stay at Brisbane with Leigh.

I believe Michael Tuck played in 7 premierships with Hawthorn.
