Not only was the decision to call play on shithouse, but the ump didn't ensure the player who ended up tackling him was 5m away, as the rules suggest.



That decision was a shocker. I thought the rule was supposed to be if the player was tackled he has to dispose of the ball. Judd disposed of the ball legally in a reasonable time. What's more, there was a situation at the other end of the ground where precisely the same thing happened but play on was called. It's not so much the application of the rules which shits me, but more inconsistent application through the match, and from one end of the ground to another.
