They nab a bank, we nab Chris Judd.

I thought this was going to be another Fatprick Smith bashing thread.

Fahour in charge of a bank that rips of Australian Consumers with hundreds of millions of dollars of unjustifiable bank fees every year.

C'mon Fatprick their has to be a few articles in your justifiable moral outrage arsenal.

Conduct unbecoming etc. Morally reprehnsible.

You know the same stories you wrote about a a now dead previous AFL Chairman and former Essendon* President who presided over Essendon*'s Salary Cap rorting and ripping off the Australian Public with 800% mark ups on bottled water.

Is this tongue in cheek chucky or are you being serious?

its about creating brand awareness, why would the NAB sponsor a club in Victoria with the exposure it already gets with the AFL.

You will find that the sponsorship in WA relates more to strengthening the nab's presence in that market, which is not as strong as they would like.

They are also hoping that the clean up of West Coast problems, will make them more of an attractive sponsorship buy than in previous years. There is nothing bigger in WA than West Coast.

Whilst in a perfect world, all nab money should be directed at Carlton, you could see the fat arse at the Australian going spastic, if this was the case.

Long time employee of Ahmed's Bank, goes without saying that I'm now very disgruntled.

Obviously we're making a play for the lucrative local pharmaceutical market

The market has reacted accordingly with our share price dropping plus $2 in the last 2 days!

Wake up guys. Ahmed would have been hung by the shareholders if he invested sponsorship money in Carlton. It would be seen as a massive conflict of interest should be have sponsored the club he supports and has been widely touted as its next president.

He is far more beneficial to us with the power of influence that he holds over potential sponsors who are NAB customers.

Personnally I'd rather get another bank to sponsor us if we need someone from the financial sector just to get up the AFL's nose.

I don't see how this is such a big deal.

If Ahmed ever becomes President of Carlton, it will be his time and expertise that he gives us.

NAB have little to do with it.

Fahour may lead Carlton

Quote:
Fahour, who met Blues president Richard Pratt and chief executive Greg Swann in December to discuss a potential place on the board, said his work commitments were less intense than when he knocked back an approach four years ago.

Fahour is believed to have spoken to Pratt about joining the Blues as part of a ticket including Daniel Grollo and Andy Penn, the AXA Asia Pacific chief.

8)

Who would be the ideal candidates to jump to take numbers down to 8 and add Fahour, Penn and Grollo?

13 board members is too many voices to have on the board of a Football Club.
