I really wanted to get Bower into my 22. But I've got 6 talls just ahead of him (plus Kreuzer who will be played every week). I was also keen to get Pfeiffer into the squad, but not sure which running player he is ready to replace yet.

Backs Thornton Jamison Grigg
Half Backs Walker Setanta Scotland
Centres Simpson Carrazzo Houlihan
Half Forwards Gibbs Waite Murphy
Forwards Betts Fevola Fisher
Followers Hampson Judd Stevens

Interchange Cloke Kreuzer Jackson Hadley

Emergencies Pfeiffer Bower Armfield

Hampson and Cloke to change in the ruck.
Waite to present up the ground, and Fevola and Fisher/Kreuzer to play as deep forwards.
Setanta and Waite to swap between forward and back, if necessary.
Not absolute convinced that Jamison is ready to handle fullback. If not, then send Setanta back, and bring Bower into the team.
Midfield rotation to include Hadley and Jackson off the bench, plus Murphy and Gibbs (and Walker if necessary).
Jackson or Carrazzo to go back, if Grigg is struggling to hold the small forward.
Jackson to tag when required.
Hadley to alternate with Carrazzo as in-and-under ballwinner.

I reckon:

B:Pfieffer, Jamo, T-Bird
HB:Houlihan, Setants, Scotland
C:walks, Stevo, Gibbs
HF:Simmo, Waite, Fish
F:Murph, Fev, Kreuzer
Foll: Hammer, Judd, Carrots
Int:Cloke, Grigg, Hadley, Bower
Emerg: Jackson, Armfield, Aisake

Midfield:
Murph and Gibbs all to have stints in midfield replacing Stevo or Judd at some stage not necessarilly in every game.
Hadley, Scotland, Walks maybe Pfieffer also to replace Carrots, these guys must be the guy at the bottom of the pack dishin it out and crackin open the pack.

B Thornton, Jamison, Grigg
HB Scotland, S.O'hAilpin, Pfeiffer
C Walker, Hadley, Simpson
Hf Gibbs, Waite, Murphy
F Cloke, Fevola, Betts

foll: Hampson, Judd, Stevo

I/C Kreuzer, Carrazzo, Houlihan, Bower

Emg Jackson, Bentick, A O'hAilpin

That's my revised 22 for r1, As much as Waite is needed back he's needed forward more since Fish is out and with santy, thornton, Jamison back along with Bower to come in I reckon we're covered back. Pfeiffer has impressed me and should start.

I think BO is off the money because he's being droning on about Kennedy being a stuff up when he is a strong CHF.

Shouldn't BO be advocating we draft the best available player instead of a tall?

BO is as consistent as Melbourne's weather.

grigg still has to impress, maybe a few more games in the 2s.
i do like the look of armfield and pfieffer.

Yes and we should not only get Kennedy back but Livo too. Kennedy as CHF with pick four and Livo as full back with pick four. If Kennedy was that strong a centre half forward we'd know about it by now. He's not and it's pretty clear for everyone to see that is not biased. Pendlebury was the better player. Mitch Clark might be a good CHF out of that draft but the pickings in terms of CHF were slim. As I said they don't grow on trees. There's a couple of potentials in this upcoming draft though... and Kreuzer might be able to play there too.

Welcome aboard Blue4life.

Tall backline I see, but as Budzy states

Quote:
3 of them have pace and mobility.

Walker out of defense and out of the midfield too...another TCer (can't remember who) suggested Walker would be a hard match up in the forwardline.

Thanks for sharing your team preferences.
