Who would you like to see lead the club after the GREAT Richard Pratt retires?

I think Delutis may get the job .....Fahour might be a bit preoccupied keeping the NAB shareholders happy for a while.
I guess another Pratt wouldnt be a bad thing either

I'm sure whoever the successor, that Richard Pratt would have a huge say in the decision - he'd only want someone who he knows will be more than capable of doing the job, not just a replacement.

And it won't be until the job is done and he knows the club can survive on its own.

A mate just spotted Ahmed deep in conversation with Demetriou. Not sure what that means. Possibly NAB cup-related, possibly not.

I think it went something like this:

AD:
"Hey Ahmed... any chance you could organise some bridging finance on mate's rates? It seems I've purchased a Toorak mansion and still haven't sold my old place yet".

AF:
"Uh, no".

Pratt won't be going anywhere for at least a year.

Nice cheap shot there TBB. You might recall that I was one of the people calling for Smorgon to be replaced, despite alot of claims that although Smorgon had done a terrible job there was no one to replace him. And then we got Pratt :-D . You can make cheap snides like that if you wish, but I'm as passionate about this club as anyone for your information.

Ignoring the last two options, this thread is really positive. And the reason it is positive is that firstly, Pratt is going to stay for anothe year at least. The second reason is even if he left/when he does eventually leave, we have many options to replace him with. It's a far cry from the situation we were in 12 months ago when people were worried about getting rid of Smorgon because they thought no one could replace him.

Anthony Pratt

Ahmed Fahour

Colin DeLutis

Greg Lee

Mark Harrison

Stephen Moulton

All of those options in the poll would make excellent presidents in my opinion. Personally I think Richard Newton would also make a great president and think he should be in the poll. But there we have at least 7 excellent people who could easily become president and maintain the excellent foundation Pratt has built to take us into the future.
