I predict that we will be much more competitive this year than last.

I expect that whoever plays, does so with passion, discipline and leaves it all on the field.

I hope that we have a great run with injuries and give the finals a shake.

What's wrong with hope? It is all many of us have survived on the last few years, and I don't think my expectations are unreasonable either.

Anyone blessed with the ability and opportunity should be honored to play a game in the Navy Blue, and should apply themselves accordingly.

Oh how "times have changed" !!

That will all change though when we bring veterans like 1AW (22) & Juddy (24) & Fisher (23) back into the side. We''ll only have 12 players under 21!!

There's going to be shit periods like we had last night for a while to come!! Young side that's played bugger-all footy together and a new game plan under a new coach.

I'm still excited.

Last year we would have lost by 150 points after the first quarter we had. At least they played with dignity in the face of defeat for the rest of the match.
