When was the last time 2 Carlton players were favourites for the 2 most prestigious individual medals before the start of the season??

Seems us here at Talking Carlton are not the only ones optimistic about our teams fortunes in 2008!!

Bring on the 20th of March!

It's great to see, we know that even in a bad year Fev can kick a truckload of goals - and Judd's Brownlow hopes will depend on how many games the team wins as a whole. Not predicting here, but even 7-9 wins could put Judd into Brownlow contention.

Bring on the 20th of March you say??

Screw that - roll on September!! :-D :P

Judd is capable of winning MVP each game in a losing team. The Fevola/Coleman and Judd/Brownlow double looks very good. :)

I love the enthusiasm!

But in all honesty, if Judd can be a much better than average player after coming back from the injury he has had and without a dominant ruckman to tap the ball to him, and with an undersized midfield to provide the blocking and shepherds previously provided by guys like Embley then I'll be delighted.

Don't get me wrong... he can do it, but geez it would be a superhuman effort to do so. Fingers crossed....
