The fev to trade people are back :)
Well if he didnt play we would of kicked about 3 goals against brisbane lol
I was at the game, the only player having a crack

To get Judd or PAv Carlton have to give up a couple really good players to get them.

Judd is worth about 2 really good players and a number 1 draft pick to get him. Same with Pav.

I doubt Carlton will get either, unless West coast or Freo had a bargain they couldnt refuse.

I think it would be stupid to trade fev if u get judd. a judd/fev combo would be fab. Stupid to trade ur forwardline for a midfielder.

What if we get pav/judd and they do a knee and are out for a year or more. We lose 2 good players n a 1st round draft pick.

When you think about it, we could be picking up two judds in this years draft. I would rather get the picks n go from there.

I think Carlton trade for a backline not a midfielder/forward.

Didn't a certain foundation club, based in the inner northern-suburbs of Melbourne, lure a player from interstate and offer him the captaincy during the 1980s; a captain who went on to be the longest serving captain in the League?

And what an absolute champion leader he was! The man they call Sticks.. If he was out on the field, he certainly wouldnt be toleratintg this shit thats going on!

Then why is he tolerating it OFF the field??

Saw Sticks at the casino last night (forgot how @#$%&! tall he is), in the Vegas room with some suits. I thought I recognised a couple of them but no names come to mind. Don't know if it was a social gathering (the poker tournament was happening) or a meeting of some kind. Probably nothing though.

While the speculation is fun I highly doubt we'd get either Judd or Pavlich.

If by some stroke of fate we did manage to get one, or miraculously both, then TalkingCarlton would need to be renamed CircleJerkin'.

I agree with you. Heard an interview with some player managers last week-end and they said it would be highly unlikely these would move. They mentioned that there is a lot of money to be made in Perth - and that Board members of the two clubs are ensuring that the players do so and "are looked after" (property deals, free cars etc.) - all of course within the salary cap rules..

Which also points to the farce which is the salary cap and its enforcement. The AFL are scared to uncover all the rorts because it makes a mockery of the competition.
Nathan Brown being flown by helicopter over investment properties to get him to Richmond ring a bell?

You can rule out Pavalich news coming out has agreed to a 3 year deal as long as he has the option to leave after the 3 years, it was on the news almost a done deal.

Not worth what we would have to give up for him. He's probably got another 4 more years before he loses his pace and that's most of his game.

Nostrabluejean .. or is that BlueJeanDamus?

Good call .. but would that gig still be on offer? OK so Nick has been here a couple of years and would be a better captain than Lance turned out to be .. then there's the Pavlich question ... is he under contract or no?

Nick Stevens is one of our best players and he has better leadership qualities than any other player at the blues he deserves and should be captain. He should've been captain from 2005 onwards
