Mark Seaby still hasn't signed with WCE. Not a huge fan but I'd have him well ahead of Ackland, McLaren and probably ahead of Charman based only on the fact that he has more playing years ahead of him.

I'd like Charman. Not only is he a solid ruck but he's got a bit of agro and aggression to him. Something else our team is sadly missing right now. But if given the choice I'd go for a solid defender if one is on offer, especially if we do in fact get Kreuzer.

I keep asking but no-one seems to know the answer.

Historically, very little.

Nick Stevens

And that's about it.

Charman might be looking at Luenberger and seeing the writing on the wall. That kid's going places fast.

At Carlton, he'd be so far and away our best ruckman it wouldn't be funny. A much better version of Cloke, and much much less injury-prone. 1,246 times better than Ackland. A good guy to have around as Hampson, Zeke and maybe (please God) Kruezer develop.

Not to mention what he'd do to anyone who lays a hand on Murph or Bryce

Richmond won't win.

But if they do, I've gotta say I don't care all that much about the wooden spoon. I'd of course rather not get it. But then again, I'd far rather have 1 & 2 in the National Draft, and 1st pick in the PSD.

Agree the aints are still in the hunt for the eight and richmond need a priority pick so lets get back to reality for a sec. Most likely scenario (if not definite scenario) is we have pick 1 and 3.

Dude i had a dream Carlton was going to lose by Kangaroos, i'm serious about it and it was around 80 points, but the bad news for most, also in the dream we beat Melbourne and didn't end up with the priority pick,so telling everybody about it, we may avoid it, as the opposite usually happen when you tell everyone, lol.

I like Charman - but I'm concerned that we'd be getting another McLaren in that a perfectly talented player may be better playing in their current structure rather than moving...

The Lions were still offering D-Mac a small extension when he came here, so I don't believe they thought he'd just be a reserves player. No matter who we get to put in the ruck, we have to do a better job at developing a list where guys don't need to be superstars for the team to do well - which means that any eventual superstars come as a great bonus!
