Been thinking about this a bit...

Morell found his feet today in a big way. Had the look of Andy McKay running out of HB and delivering with precision and certainty. Just what we need back there.

And therein lies the biggest positive of having BOTH Livo and Tbird in defence, all of a sudden Morrell can play with a bit more sureity and freedom.

-HIT-OUTS-

Crows: 38
Blues: 15

Sorry! I'll stick with my opinion that we were a ruckman short of a victory! WE GOT SLAUGHTED in the ruck. Kouta had 3 clearances, 3! This coming from a guy who averages 8 a game!

DeLuca has 5 possesions and 8 hit-outs! And this is not just one bad game. This is pretty much his average for the year!

Prenda has not proved he deserves a spot in the side. Much like DeLuca, he is getting max. 10 possesions a game and does very little with them. I think he had 6 Hit-outs!

I'll stick with my opinion that Bryan, who has earned his spot in the senior side all year, should have been brought in and i believe he would have been the difference!

Ok, so we dont have a second ruckman... WE ALL KNEW THAT!!!!!
Why do you think Denis wanted Knoble?????

Still id prefer Betts and Deluca.

Bryan at the minute isnt the answer to WINNING... i hope he makes the side and plays a few... he will get us closer to our 2005 ultimate target... (PPs) 8)
Dunno how you think he would make a difference when he is not much chop in the VFL......

I'm not talking Bryan up to be the best tap-ruckman in the AFL. But jesus, you'd be hard pressed to find somebody worse than DeLuca and Prenda.

And i think he is much chop in the VFL. Would be leading our B&F with the Bullants easily.

And yes, i would much rather have Betts than Knob-le.

Much more competitive effort
Campo played his best game this year
Carazzo continues to impress
Morrell played his best game this year (IMO).
Andrew walker killed AM. Super mark, and good kick to Fev... GOAL
Fevola: Best defensive game I have ever seen him play. His chasing and tackling was second to none. Presented well, and looks like a rolls royce on the lead. IMO he is the best leading forward in the comp by a mile!!
Livo was very good. He + Tbird is very important to our backline structure.
Clarke was good. Did some real hard stuff which has been missing from previous games. Thought his disposal wasn't as bad as some people think.
Simpson & Bentick both had their moments. Worth perservering with.

I think its fair to say the leaders stood up yesterday.

Fevola was sensational with the example he set for everyone else. He tends to do the chasing in spurts and when he drops his head he forgets to do it.

I really think as the face of the club he needs to be in that leadership group and accept the responsibility. It can only help his game and consistency too if he isn't thinking only of his own game. Not meant to be a criticism of him btw.
