In 2000 Woewodin would have been lucky to obtain this Williams possession total of 44 in 3 matches that he polled votes in.

I think I prefer Wanganeen as a default/dodgy brownlow medalist than Woewodin as at least he was a back pocket player and few back pockets win it.

Kouta was definitely robbed in 2000. Yes, I know Ratten etc was in the team, but there was no way Woewodin had a better season than Kouta (and that includes the fact that Kouta was injured for last couple of games)

Kouta had about 8 BOGs in a row but I think the umps only gave him 2s and 1s in a few of them just because of his high standard that year. I guess you could say the same thing happened to Carey for most of his career.
