Any chance we could lose one of our new sponsorships due to our current plight on the ladder and on the football field?

No chance - even if someone got blind drunk in a nightclub - Dan Murphy is hardly likely to give us the arse. :P

I was more or less talking about Subaru, the Scott transport sponsorship and Optus sponsorship.

sponsorship cant be dropped i would imagine unless they had set clauses in the contract, i.e. TAC and Richmond you get a couple of players done for whatever and we will drop the sponsorship.

they may not want to renew the sponsorship at the end of the deal, but they can drop it half way through a season unless there is some clause that allows them to do so.

Optus and DM's i reckon would be pretty satisfied with the amount of publicity their getting!
Our TV coverage has doubled from last year.............as has our media attention. The Wizzard Cup ratings went through the roof and the spotlight on the last game at Optus Oval was larger than i thought!

All-in-all, although our form and place on the ladder is shithouse, i think our major sponsers are getting the attention they would like!

Sponsorship is basically part of a company's advertising budget. If they're getting exposure they'll be happy provided that exposure isn't damaging to the sponsor. Carlton being beaten every week doesn't hurt a sponsor's reputation much if at all.

It hasn't really changed. This Sun will be our first FTA interstate game in 2 years but otherwise we've had about the same FTA coverage so far.

Think again.....Last year we had 7 FTA matches in Sydney all year, which includes the Sydney match, which MUST be broadcast to Sydney.

This year out of 11 matches, up to and including the Sydney match, we will have had 7 matches on FTA (is Sydney anyway).

That's almost triple, if it goes on at that rate....

With us moving to the TD I think our sponsors will be very happy.
