Found this old article today.

Pagan keeps telling us that we need support for Kouta, Campo and Stevens in the midfield.

Well, heres Prenda, itching to get in there.

We all know he can run and has a pretty good engine and physically built up.

OK his skill is not up to scratch ( did kick that nice 9 pointer in the wiz cup GF) but who cares, get him to crash in as a in/under type and feed it out to Stevo and Campo.

Can't understand why Prenda is not getting a game.

Pagan, you have nothing to lose.

There was also an interview with Houlihan this year where he said he wanted to play in the midfield as well. I suppose you can only have so many 'outside' type players in the midfield structure though.

Jarusa, I'm saying Prenda for an in/under role, leave the outside stuff to campo and hoops.

I'm a big fan of Prenda, I don't know why he didn't get a game runningwith Jeff White on Saturday. Doesn't look good for him at the moment.

Prenda might be the disposer of the ball that Fev misses...
The hidden key to the midfield....

when I spoke to Prenda (yes, am a names dropper) all he wanted to do was play in the team, and then in the ruck. I think that Prenders has been told, or knows, that his time is coming to an end, and just wants to be anywhere in the team.

prenders as an in & under? very slow disposer of the ball when he gets it, not suited to an in & under role IMHO.

re: houla - i was under the impression that Denis had told Houla to play back before he could play midfield in denis;s team, its a long term goal of houla to be permanent midfield but he understands that time in defence is required before he can move up. when he does play on ball his delivery is most welcome, you'd have to say.

Houla did get a go in the midfield in the Port game when Campo & Scotland were both out. Certainly made the most of that opportunity- was BOG. Surprised we haven't seen him back there since, especially with Denis moaning about lack of midfield options.
