Molsey and Synbad, can't have a bag-Camporeale-for-good-reason party without me!

I'm in.

Ineffectual yesterday and when a goal needs to be kicked like it had to be at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, it has to be done. It wasn't. He poked at it and didn't kick through the ball. It was to the Heatley Stand end, the crowd would have gone wild and we would have been 13 points down. That was the most disappointing aspect IMO.

Maybe you could talk about Kouta instead Clem you've been a fine supporter of his this year.

As for Campo = Stevens
Both play the same game yet only one gets all the shit. Blinkers are a great thing!

One runs abit harder... doesnt get involved in the bullshit and just goes about his business.
I know you think Campo has the respect of the opposition clubs thats why he is tagged... in theory youre correct but the reality of it is.. every club knows he gets sucked in and falls to pieces with a tagger...so they tag him and it ends up being 3 against 4 because Campo thinks he shouldnt be tagged.... like he wasnt in the first half of his career when he was very good in a very good side.
Since the guts of the midfield retired Campo was tagged more heavily and like every martial art student is taught not show when theyre hurt... Campo made the fatal mistake of squealing like a pig when he got 'the treatment'.
Everyone knew this and he could never live it down... they do it to him every week now... too late though... he boo booed and he still hasnt recovered from the tag.

Meanwhile Stevens just goes about his business ....

I think thats the difference.

Guts of the midfield??? That = Ratten, and Ratten alone. Williams retired in 1997, and Brown only played 10 games in 2000 before retiring. Unless you count Hulme and Franchina in that category.

Hulme was not getting 22 effective possessions in a game.

You are right Synbad, Campo is close to finishing he is 31 now and every year is a bonus. So when he does go you can bounce up and down and say "I told you so!' And given some of the rubbish he cops on here and during games it wouldn't suprise me if he goes elsewhere.

Just wondering when he goes, who is next on your kicking list?

Campo has his role and I guess the stats show he does get the footy and finds a target as much as anyone else but at the age of 30 and with the teams performance can we justify paying him 500K+ per year to do that job that he does...does a wide running receiver aged 30 deserve that type of dough...No is my answer...a out and out champion like Bradley maybe..

Stevens vs Campo....age has to win....my view is you can only have one player of this type on that money...we need to spend 500K on a CHF, orCHB,or Ruckman, or an in and under....not another receiever.

For 500K+..you have to be bloody good every week....Barry Hall is good every week...Kouta is earning the money by being the same.....Campo and Lance are not....its big money for piss poor return and you wouldnt run a business like that...

The 4-5 biggest money earners should be winning us games....they are not......Stevens included.......
