Its good to see some of the players hurting as well.

Nick Stevens summed it up when he threw the match ball into the turf after the final siren..

Thats nice, but how many weeks in a row can someone come out and say we're embarassed?

Stevens might want to show his disgust by standing somewhere near his man when we don't have the ball. Yes he's carrying a knee injury thats limiting his performance but he wasn't doing it before the injury either.

i wouldnt take to much out of it. it just so happened that was where he was at the end of the game.

different if he had of run from the BP or something to get there and do it.

frustration is a good thing - im glad he shows it. someone needs to.

Stevens has always struck me as highly competitive, and I wouldn't read any more into it than he was frustrated that the team waited until the game was over before showing that they can actually play competitive football.

Actually, I noticed he did it when the ball arrived in his hands 1/2 second after the siren sounded .... but don't let that spoil a good conspiracy theory.

I was expecting an article about how embarrassed they were about their team photos!

Stevens IS highly competitive and he's punched the ground and his hand many times. I don't think he's our problem whether on his man or not......he will be our next captain...perhaps it should be Lappo also

Stevens was still saying in the centre square 10 seconds before the bounce "there's still time, there's still time!" Footage on the replay is clear. He didn't know how much time there was, but he was trying.

He did it straight after the siren went, that's where he was, at least he had the ball and he was going to run forward but the siren went...pure conspiracy theory that ryan.

Did that after he dropped a mark he should have taken a few weeks ago.

Pure coincidence that he was there at the time. Perfectly natural reaction from someone who not only wanted to win, but also thought we could win.

Hasn't anyone else had a similar reaction? I know coaches have smashed things before. Glass. Phones. It happens.
