Oh, I thought you were laughing at the decision itself.

Will be good to have Tony at the club, will be an opportunity for ideas to be presented to the club as well, Tony will make himself very approachable at the club. It could be a great way to get things happening.

Not only do the club now have someone being the eyes and ears for Pratt but they just hired themselves a perfect website writer / contributor / editor.

Good job, Pratt

Could be useful in sorting out once & for all the status of the Blueseum. De Bolfo has been a keen supporter of the site, including adding in lots of pics and articles right when the site was only a shell.

Perhaps Tony and Coutts can have a chat with the Board about formally taking it over (under the watchful eye of a Blueseum committee with BlueWorld, Jarusa, DeBolfo, Williamson and me!)?

Colonial stadium url registration - TdB peaked early.

Thins is bookie, like any of us in our jobs, we'd be nervous if someone was appointed to keep an ear out.

But we'd also be somewhat confident, if we knew that we were doing our job and doing it well.

AirCav you're spot on I agree it's not right to dance on the mans grave, but as a fan (hiding my name and face and never meeting Michael Malouf) I guess change in that area is something I look forward to based purely on results.
That said it's been a very tough job for the past few years and I'm sure he's given everything to the role. Who knows maybe "The Beast" will love him and with changed external factors he will thrive.
A rumour of some good sponsorship news in the coming days may help also.

One things for sure ...Malouf will have a bestseller if he decides to put pen to paper when his time with the blues comes to an end. $

The Beast is not a spy, he's been hired to keep Pratt informed of everything that's happening at the club.....that's EVERYTHING...and TdB will be able to do that with his usual infectious ability.

No offence to Synbad (who also knows everything that's going on at the club) but I'ld rather be chatting with the Beast ad nauseum about the Blues than Synners....

Congrats to him and yes it's a graet opportunity to keep the articles and Blueseum rolling.....

Jars, just a question - you didn't think there was anything wrong with The Beast doing what he did with registering the name?

Not nothing wrong, but AFAIK nothing illegal took place. It's just an interesting anecdote for Tony now, and a bit serendipitous because I think after the Herald Sun he went on to start up his own successful media company.

I might try to convince him to come into TC next time I speak to him. I think he would be impressed by the people here and the ideas they generate.
