OK, simon - by the way good to chat over a number of parallel threads, especially given i'm still at work...

but if Wiggins is getting a game, and we're top or bottom of the ladder, doesn't really matter, then doesn't that tell you that he's in the top 22 on the list? Assuming that we have say 8 youngsters on the list maturing, then doesn't that leave 14 players (44 less 22 less 8) worse off than him? If so, can we add the fact that he hasn't been in the worse players, is consitently getting 100 mins of game time... doesn't taht tell you something? You can say that he aint up to it but he's a top 20 player and required. We can argue perfect world stuff until the cows come home i.e. if we had 10 dal santo's then would wiggy get a game.... but thats just pipedreaming stuff. Wiggins is a required, senior, player, and despite his ugliness he's going to be around for a while yet.

Yeah, good chatting footy with you Molsey!

You know what. I actually agree with all of your points but i just think that they paint a really sad picture of where the club is at.

You're right that he's in our best 22 - all i can say is god save carlton fc.

Simon Luhrs, Brisbane 1991-92 12 games, stick him anywhere.

Simon Meehan, rover for the saints, 55 games.

If I had stayed up I would have talked about Davies being in the team ahead of Wiggins..... but that's another story.
