Contrary to public belief Carlton's last home match at Optus Oval in round nine will not be a Blues' only affair and the match is still not even a sell-out.

Coutts said while interest has been strong from Carlton fans there were still plenty of tickets available for the seating and standing room areas in front of both the Pratt and Heatley Stands.
"We want to remind the Carlton fans that unless they purchase a ticket for those (general admission) areas they won't get in on the day."

Good news for those who still haven't purchased tickets for the match

Gee, even Carlton fans don't want to go to Optus Oval any more....

Wonder if Max Gratten and his stay at OO has brought a ticket ????

32,000 members,
28,000 capacity (?)

Of course not all those members can make it, or are even attendee members (?), but not all 28,000 would be available, some will be given away, go to sponsors/corporate's.

The capacity is about 7,000 higher than 28,000 isn't it?

There charging too much for a ticket. :x
Members should be able to reserve a seat for max $5.00, but no CFC are charging $12.00.

Sorry????...My understanding is that members have had to pay for a reserved seat for years. That is unless of course they have already paid for a yearly one or are Social Club members..

To my mind ignoring the seating issue if the Club can make a bob from this game,go for it!

Its not as if we cannot use the dough!

Only $2 for admission. But AFL members get reserved seats at MCG & TD for half what CFC are charging.

That's a weak effort by us. Last game at the place and we haven't even sold it out.

Weak.
