This week we are stretched due to injury. Chambers and Carrazzo are apparently unlikely to play, along with Stevens, so this is how I think we should line up.

Backs - Prendergast Thornton Norman
H/Backs - Houlihan Whitnall Teague
Centres - Walker Camporeale Simpson
H/Forwards - Lappin Waite Scotland
Forwards - Betts Fevola Davies
Followers - French Koutafides Johnson
I/C - Bryan Bentick Clarke O'Hailpin

In - Davies Clarke Bentick Norman Bryan
Out - Stevens Sporn Wiggins Longmuir Bannister

I think Clarke should play - we've nothing to lose.
Bentick should definitely get a game, to mix things up through the centre.
May as well play Chris Bryan, DeLuca is really starting to shit me.
Bring back Karl to add height to defence and Davies to hopefully convert on the many chances he creates up forward.
Bannister unlucky, he may actually play in the real team.
Wiggins and Sporn are similar players in a similar predicament - need some time in the guts in the twos.

Who gets Ablett?

You need at least one small defender. Houlihan and Teague are both over 185cm. Geelong aren't that tall up forward apart from Ottens. T-Bird or Livo should easily account for him. Kingsley will be a concern due to his pace, too quick for Livo, I'd consider Norman on him.

The 22 I'd love to see is 22 guys busting to put some pride back in the Navy Blue.

22 guys hungry for a spot in the team.

22 guys playing for their teammates, not their own spot in the team.

22 guys playing hard, uncompromising footy.

I don't care which 22 that is, because I know that the 22 would win, or die trying.

Is that too much to ask?

I'd leave Wiggo in and keep Clarke out. Don't know why people want to drop Wiggo - he actually tries.

That's the sad bit - he DOES try his hardest. God love him, he tries, but he can't play - never confuse the two.

He simply doesn't have the ability.

Elroy Elroy Elroy, dear boy...you're at risk of becoming blinded by your huge debt when the great man is retained at the end of the season.

TrueBLueBrad,

I think it's only about 6 beers at present.

I should be right, if the unthinkable happens (Wiggins retained)

So, you think Wiggns won't be delisted I take it?

Sorry I thought this was gonna be a thread that spoke about the guys having a reunion this week because that's the 22 I'd like to see his week!

I didn't know the COLIN TRIPPA had raised the Salary Cap to about $13 million.

Kouta Campo and Whitnall soak up 2 mill of that 6.2 million dollar salary cap...the good news is theyre almost done.
Were waiting for their contracts to expire to bring in alittle more class.. in the mean time we have to play them in the firsts just in case we suck someone into taking them in a trade ....

Chrissy Johnston is getting alittle long in the tooth and we will have to replace him soon...
anyway with that 2 odd million wed probably be able to bring in a few more guns....
