Agree. I've become increasingly more grumpy about jumper clashes in my old age & it was pretty shit.

Not as bad as GWS Hawthorn though, that was terrible

On the other hand, I was pleased that Footscray v Melbourne was played in home strips; neither team taking on one of those crappy white things. They're different shades of blue, no issue telling them apart. Finally some common sense.

Agreed with the Pies' new jumper being a shocker for clashes. Think I've noticed it when they play other teams too... Port? I'll know it when I see it (hopefully not in September).

GWS Hawthorn was TERRIBLE. I think Hawthorn GCS was even worse, or was it GCS GWS? Anyway. I think if we're going down the EPL/American route of "away strips" then they need to be completely different, not just the same design with traditional colour logo on white background; use a different palette. But only use them when there's a clash, not every away game for driving merch sales like the poms and yanks do.

It seems there is no jumper clash when it comes to Hawthorn. Certain clubs…. :garthp:

Our first quarter was good, albeit inacccurate, and wasted opportunity, and last quarters we played our daring best brand and nearly won it.

I haven't felt this flat after a game since last years loss to Effendopes. Prior to that was the Final in Perth which we got the royal ripped off from umps.

Come on boys. You've got what it takes, now take the game on.

Win the next 3...please...and I expect we will.

a few people out there in afl land, don't expect us to win again this year.

do they know something we don't? on one hand it has all the wheels falling off vibe, on the other, we win sunday we could go on a run. spewing gov didn't kick straight. if we got out of jail there, i suspect that us back, moji in tact and we go and run the table.

sigh

They know nothing. No one does.

Expectation, Perception, Reality? Big difference.

Would those same people, put money on us to lose all 3? I bet there isn't many, if any, who "expect us" to lose all 3. Wishful thinking.

I think there's plenty of people who hope we lose all 3. Lets see, Effendopes, Pies, Tigers fans....That's not their reality.

I bet no one today would back West Coast to beat Carlton in Perth in the 2nd last game of the year. All talk.

I bet most pundits expect Carlton to win 2 or 3 of the next 3. That's what I'm hearing, reading and thinking.

Starts this weekend against an inform team. Just what we need before Finals.

I still feel that in the Pitto vs Cox and Cameron contest, Pitto lost badly in the first 3 quarters. Badly.

But After watching Cameron and Cox vs Grundy last night, I can see Pitto was beaten by a formidable duo of rucks.
Cameron and Cox took 12 marks to Grundy's zero.

Does that make Grundy a bad ruck vs the 2 big boys at Collingwood? Not really.
Just have to acknowledge the 2 rucks at Collingwood are a great combo, and at the top of their game.

Cameron is in rare form.
I always wanted him at Carlton when he was at the Swans, but its taken him a decade to reach this point. Proving rucks take a long time to peak.
He's in awesome form, marking the ball at will.

Doesn't look like we will have to meet that duo again this year.
