We have to go two rucks at some stage because we're likely to need to in September
I think one of the talls might be out.
Motlop to come in as sub.

If Hewett doesn't line up in VFL I reckon he is injured and they don't want people to know the injury. Might be ribs

why do you think its ribs Syd?

GWS is the first team ever to record 2 consecutive quarters of a pressure rating above 230 the 2nd and 3rd last week.
They didn't run us off our feet they applied pressure and beat at the contest

Just a wild guess but the last thing a in and under tackling machine needs is busted ribs.
1st contest he gets crunched.
Best not to let that be public knowledge

When they got the ball they ran us off our feet, we couldn’t keep up. Also, their pressure was because they were able to close our space and run us down, again pace.

be interesting if we line up as listed, with no late changes.

every time we've played with this set up, we make everything look so difficult and laboured. ball movement, closing down space, pressure, turnover. but especially ball movement. and the dogs go coast to coast pretty well. their gameplan will be to play on, play quick and move fast.

kemp will move to mcgovern intercept role, and marchbank given the assignment of their 2nd key forward. if it's hagle, go place a bet on him kicking 5.

What a difference a week makes. This time last week we were sitting pretty. Players available. Injury list reducing. We were grand final bound... a week later there's injury clouds left right and centre, the side looks completely unbalanced and this game is 50/50 no matter how shit they were last week. They're playing for their season. Funny how many sides get us when their season is on the line.

Any win will be a good win.

I’ll be heading to the worry room at about 16:00 tomorrow if anyone cares to catch up?

Nah, I bought a reserved seat at the start of the year. I’m in the trembling section just behind the obsessive whingers

Vossy confirmed Charlie and Weiters are both good to go tomorrow.

Let's hope they're not too hampered.

If we’re any good, we need to win this one. Appreciate we have a few sore players and maybe someone is pulled out late but even then the dogs have a worse injury list. As it currently stands they’ve got Lobb and Khamis to play on H, Charlie and TDK when he’s down there.

While my preference is one ruck, I can understand why Pitto has been brought in given dogs’ one wood is the clearance game. If we can neutralise or win that, it should take us quite a way to getting the result.

Top 2 finish is imperative if we want to do much in september. Hard to see us, and many other teams for that matter, winning a big final on the road so staying at the MCG is important.

Apparently it’s Weiters right leg and Charlie’s left leg so they’ll just play tight and lean against each other…
They’ve apparently been spotted practising three-legged racing at training…

Is TDK a chance for a late out?

I don’t think we need to worry too much about Beveridges planning skills for this match!
