Marchbank and Williams both playing. What's the odds on both of them getting through the match unscathed?

I worry more about our players' ability to get through training

Win this and we could be as high as 2nd!
(Most likely equal 3rd, given most of the teams above us play three of the four bottom teams (while we play against the top team for the third time in the past month).

Weird that we're still omitting a player when we get 3 injuries. Gutting for Cowan, thought he was good last week.

Anyway if we win this it's a massive statement
I like Cowans aggression and would prefer him to Fantasia. However he gave away that stupid 50 meter that resulted in a goal and changed momentum. He is also terrible by foot and turns it over far to much.
You can't question his defending but in a game of tight margins he can be costly

At least Cowan gets near the ball

I still wouldn't have minded Cowan because he's got a massive hoof on him. A dump kick out of half back at the SCG could find Harry or Charlie easily

ok. based on that ... oliie in the cotts role, and williams up higher on the ground to wing. Williams can't run out games on half back, so wing will be interesting. he doesn't work overly hard, so that's a big watch. i think ollie will do the cotts role excellently, but we'll lose his defensive pressure from the wing in our back 50.

surely marchbank is meant to be on the bench and boyd instead?

other than that, we're way too tall and slow for the scg

The selections (including leaving out Binns) leads me to think we have a specific plan for the Swans.
I think the smaller ground will suit our desire for a stoppage game ahead of an open, running game. Then again, it’s not hat much smaller and it is wide so…
In any event, we have one of the most potent midfields and key forwards. If our defensive game can do its part, we should be in a strong position.

I was surprised at how tall Sydney’s forward line is.

Bondi is ok
I think he is just giving TC a break for a while

Nice one Syd, thanks. Maybe if we keep talking about how small the SCG is, it'll drag him back in. Kind of like a Beetlejuice situation.

The SCG is tiny
The SCG is tiny
The SCG is... (deep rumble)
