Just preparing ourselves for the disappointment.

I can buy that they don’t award frees to players with a history of milking or exaggerating.
I could even buy that umpires have players they don’t like (although I wouldn’t have thought that any current Carlton player has enough of a mean streak to warrant that).
But I honestly cannot believe that any umpire is genuinely anti-Carlton.

I’m pretty sure John Russo and Darren Goldspink were anti-Carlton.

It's not that hard to believe. We have Carlton supporting posters on TC who I suspect are anti-Carlton!

Going to be very interesting how we play tonight. Can we back up a (more) positive performance in a winnable game?

Wish I could say I was confident ‘good Carlton’ will be in display tonight.

I think will be fine just lacking alot of key players.

Adding a layer to attacking free flowing football that is coming together.

We will press hard and try to play the game on our terms as much as possible. Wanting to see an improvement in clearances.

Diversity.

Hopefully Cripps steps up tonight. I'm getting sick of watching our 20 year old midfielder copping the tags and physical treatment from the opposition whilst our captain is getting 1 centre clearance per game. Time for Cripps to draw some heat from the kid and start winning some hard footy instead of the cheap outside stuff

Music to my ears. Cripps has gotten away with so little performance scrutiny over the last 18 months because there have been rose-coloured excuses (trimmed body shape, carrying an injury (injuries) personal issues, has no support around him, the captaincy burden etc.)

When you run out and cross the line, the assumption is you're fit and firing. And...if you're not, physically and/or mentally, you put your hand up and seek remediation

Will Serong go to Walsh and if so, will we be able to counter the tag? The countering tactics against GWS earned our coaches well deserved criticism.
Let's see if we have improved from that "growth area".
It will also be interesting to see if Ed goes to Brayshaw. He shut him down well last time after we let him off the leash early.

E. Curnow has had a lousy month. It would be nice if he could step up rather than confrming he is burnt out like MM.

Lol. Ed still one of our best players. Supercoach Teague been using him wrong past few weeks.
