one thing in common that all richmonds late picks or rookies picks have is that they are all quick and this is wat concerns me about our list. Players like sps,setters,kennedy and even plowman are all slow. We need to introduce speed to the team 1 from defence and 2 in middle. Funny thing is i have been saying this for about 5 years .

Its (sic) not an easy game and sure the players at Richmond were dedicated to build a winning culture but there is no reason to believe Cripps, Docherty, Weitering and Walsh wont do the same for our club.

We haven't handed over pick 8 for Saad.
If we don't its a Bonanza Trade period.

If we hand pick 8 over for a return of a First round pick in the teens, we still have a First round pick to use in the draft/trade or package for a Premium player wanting to be part of the action at the Destination club on Royal Parade, Princes Park.

If we hand over pick 8 for Saad when we didn't have to then Austin needs to front the Members.

Ralph is saying that pick 8 is part of the 'capital'.... not use pick 8 for Saad... That would make sense that 8 will somehow be used rather than a straight swap...
But as you say Bondi, a straight swap would need some explaining
