And I think that is the point BS Plowman is a consistent seasoned senior footballer who is no star but you know and the coaches know exactly what they are going to get from him each week .He is rarely injured and if he is seems to recover from injury quickly.
Can at a pinch play short and tall and even in games when his performance is not his best he gives you something .Seems also to be respected within the playing group as well.

These are the type of footballers that we really have not had enough of over the last 10 years who just do the job .

Merritt just looks like your quintessential Essendon**** douchebag.

He is related to Roger Merrett who was a thug for the cheats

I didn't know that. I thought he was Thorold Merrett's grandson.

Current Essendon* players Jackson and Zach Merrett are Thorold's great nephews.

I reckon I can pick an Essendon* supporter 9 times out of 10 before I even know.

Stand out like Americans on holiday.

Often known as footsoldiers.

Every team needs them.

I’ve met plenty of cauliflower who aren’t Essendon* supporters but I’ve never met an Essendon* supporter who isn’t a cauliflower...

Thanks.
I am old and senile.
It must be getting more obvious every week.

It's the undeserved air of superiority and entitlement.
Also, the only adults I see wearing footy jumpers outside of match day are all Essendon* supporters.

And you don't think ours are not?

I am. Such as, okay CFC isn't any good at the moment but I have seen 'em win 8 cups, how many have you seen your team win.

Doesn't work against hawk supporters.

Why is Merrett allowed to run around in a scratch match against Collingwood this afternoon whilst suspended?
