Watched the Port game highlights and "The journey" again last night, and to see the joy on Walker's face with the win, embracing the kids after the win, I'm so happy for him to be experiencing the highs again. His smile was huge and infectious.
I think there is a case to keep Walker in the team in the hope that this current momentum of the team along with continuity of game time may be just the tonic to get him back kicking a few goals.
He has the experience to kick a few each week, as he did when fit last year, and imo, that's his job, other than leadership.
He doesn't look to have found the speed he had a few years back, but he still has the experience and leadership to bring to the table.
Gee I hope he turns it on again whilst the new Carlton is reviving our fortunes and results.
I agree re. Walker. Think he'll get better more games he plays..
