Re Garlett, Robinson and Bootsma - lets be thankful we now have the sense to boot these guys from the club quicksmart . Who knows whether this would have been the case under Ratten? I think players are far more aware of the standards set re discipline and work ethic under Malthouse than previously - Garlett, Lucas even Waite were all talented but Mick wanted them to work harder and they wouldn't - know they are gone or on the verge of being gone. To me, at the very least , Malthouse has brought about a significant shift in imprinting on the players the required attitude to play senior football. Would anyone disagree?
