Loved the pic of Whitnall Snr. Looks very similar. Probably was at about the same age as Lance is now?

Vin looks pretty similar now, though with less hair. Saw him on Grumpy Old Men repeat a few weeks back.

Finally got the knack of how to search the forums properly and found this thread.

I have a question to put to all the memorabilia enthusiasts here. I have a 1996 Greg Williams Carlton centenary guernsey, with Diesel's #2 printed on the back. It has a woolen collar but the jumper itself is made of the proper material. The AFL logo on the front is the Centenary logo used in the 1996 AFL season, and the Hyundai appears on both the front and back of the guernsey. I'm not sure you could buy these types in the shops, and would appreciate an evaluation of rarity and value. I'm fair certain that these were issued to Social Club members one day that year, and Brad Pierce presented it as Diesel couldn't be there. I don't expect it to be worth too much, although I haven't seen many of them around. I'm not interested in selling nor trading, as I think it's a very neat item, and would look particularly great if I were to get it signed.

Help much appreciated, thanks guys.

 Here I go again...

Not exactly memorabilia, but merchandise nonetheless.

Why, oh why, for the sake of God and all that He created, would we have anything in the colours of our arch rival, the filth?

I don't care if it's for training purposes or not, it is unnecessary and downright stupid.

And it's not the first time we've done it!

I agree. And not only that. What about those prices??!! What a f&%^%g rip-off. After ploughing $1,500 odd into the club for a pissy little hat, there's no way I'm spending $85 or $110 or $200 to advertise Mars Bars.

If they gave paid up members a 50% discount, I'd consider it. But Gee.....

How do you spell elitist?

We all make mistakes, but to make this many in just one ad is a bit ordinary.

Pretty sure you could ask Diesel about it and he'd look at you like you were from another world.

Jamie knows about memorabilia? Could've fooled me! Did the Bret Thornton rookie card increase post being in our top 150 players of all time?

I was thinking of taking along a screen shot of Smorgy's comments about Marc Murphy's spectacular marks.
