Silly Craig spends his summers at altitude, should just do a week or two like Carlton.

The club should be seriously looking at some intense LOW altitude conditioning - think outside the box.

The MCG and most of the other grounds around Australia are located approximately 50 to 120 metres above sea level

We really should be focusing our skills and workrate within this range of altitudes. There are not many games that are played on the top of Mount Kilamanjaro or on the Himalayan ridges. And the Grand final is definitely staying at the MCG for some time.

If the club really wants to improve the player's decision making and skills under intense pressure, they should introduce a deep sea diving program.

Who the hell is running the show at VISY park these days?

I may send this innovative idea to the YPC - they will know what to do.

Here's a thought: instead of spending money on a week of high altitude training for little real benefit, how about spending some of that time and effort on improving things like kicking at goals and basic skills?

Yeah, you're right...a little far fetched.

Why don't they come to Addis Ababa ? High altitude, much cheaper, tradition of endurance athletes, ready made weight loss program and they get to see life outside the bubble of celebrity. Pretty bonding and character building and they could change lives of some pretty poor kids (as well as themselves!)

Or just go to be Bendigo and send us (school for kids in Ethiopia) the cash difference? Now wouldn't that make a statement!

About as far fetched as kks suggestion.

Goal kicking!?!

What the hell are you trying to do, wear their poor little kicking legs out?

In order to prevent goal kicking leg burn out, I propose we ban kicking at goal during games too. Imagine how fresh we'll be, we'll run over everybody!
