This is the ludicrous bullshite you get when you try and turn a FULL CONTACT sport into something it isn't.

I hope we challenge this one because it was not clearly high (based on the replay I saw). It happened near me and my first reaction was that the contact was to the torso. I haven't seen any camera angles which disprove my initial thought.

If there's an angle which clearly shows he got him above the shoulders, then 2 weeks is probably fair.

Even so, Robbo is unlucky - rather than silly -on this occasion.

this is a moral dilemma for Robinson and the Club.

he should never take that attitude out of his game, actually there should be more of it by our club. Its not nasty, its not behind the play, its hard tough football and something I think the club needs to really work on.

I think the bump was fair and he had no other alternative ... but he will get two weeks (not that I think its worth a week) ... but I think in this instance the club should have no issue with it (I would like them to appeal it though)

To be honest........... i didn't really see anything wrong with it? But perhaps i'm biased or maybe im just old fashioned.

Free Kick,........... but that's about it!

Free kick and thats it!

Robbo has been crucified as said by Healy on OTC

Good hip an shoulder.
If that hit his head it would end up in Mars.

Challenge it

Agree wholeheartedly. I have no issue with what Robbo did. Challenge it...the last thing we need is THE ONLY player in our club with some hardness being sent a message by the club they he's not supported in his attitude.
Besides can't lose either way.....and BtW I still think the MRP decision is s joke

If it doesn't hit the head its not high right?

That's the way the rule is supposed to work, but they make this shit up as they go along.

It wasn't high it was just a good old fashioned bump that took his shoulder, Mitch hit him hard and Adam's head moved which is natural, but I couldn't see any contact with the head.

This needs to be challenged, he has nothing to lose.

That is really disappointing, the club should have appealed this one.

It's Triggsy's fault.

Just watched the replay.
White is playing pretty good, aggressive footy.
Rowe gets better every week.
Simmo was great
Gibbs good
Touhy did OK but Thomas kicked 4-0 from five kicks on the day.
Docherty had it quite a lot.
Waite, Cas and Hendo work. The kangas couldn't afford a floater because he had to man up someone.
Murphy had a pretty good one.
Judd pretty good
Bell flashes in and out but is in our best 22. His tackling is ferocious
Yarran has a sweet touch of the footy and as I have said before is probably the best two sided player I have ever seen.
Wood > Warnock
Mitch was pretty unlucky imo. Had the best hitout of the match (To Gibbs-goal) and goes third up in the ruck quite a lot.

Ellard sorry. I like his endeavour but he is no longer in our best 22.
Graham shjowed patches
Menzell OK but not as good as he has been
Thomas is covering a lot of ground but is going there the ball ain't (Jack Dyer saying)
Everitt I like.
Jamo's kicking was awful early on.
Curnow shut down Boomer, I think it was late in the game.

The last quarter we slaughtered them. the win was gained on the back of great tackling, good ball use and using the corridor. Had we kicked straight it would have been a 10 goal win and well deserved.

We can beat Freo if we do what we did on Friday. Another meaningless win, though. It's fine for the boys to get up and have a few extra wins but it does the draft position no good at all.

I fear we will have pick 8 instead of pick 5. Could make a big difference. We have to get this one right.

The list lacks depth but our best 22 isn't a long way of top 6.
