The poster on BF said he saw it from Nike's 2015 range so maybe it has been given AFL clearance now.

Silly question, but on the right hand side next to the indigenous guernsey that Robbos missus designed, is what looks like an old VFL guernsey. Are these for sale at the Club, as Ive never seen then before ?

We're just discussing this exact topic on BF at the moment. Apparently you can. They are $150. Only in store though, not online.

Haven't discussed the jumper issue for a while...because in all honesty - it's not at the top of the list of things that need doing urgently...BUT...the board liked it...nike has given green light...shouldn't be a problem with the AFL bur numerous meetings will need to be had (they own it afterall)..but in all likelihood names will be a permanent fixture next year and AFL may make them bigger than Rnd 5 version...in which case could squeeze out the cfc logo which is already very small.

All I did was post an update, to which you stated "FMD, I've told you all this before". That was patently untrue.

If it's a minor issue that you don't care about then don't respond, but acting all indignant because someone dared to speculate about what you may or may not already know makes you look like a self-important wanker.

Why don't you go look in the Sticks: The Grand Illusion thread...pg 90/91...

Now...things change...as do boards and AFL staff...and change at Carlton is slow...but franc...when I don't know the answer to something I go to the club and ask...you go to BigFooty :) ...if that makes me a self-important wanker in your eyes then so be it...others would attribute it to using ones brain.

Franc , Doc's strike rate on club goings on has been second to none. I'm not defending him because he's more than capable of doing that himself.
As far as taking offence to ''fmd'' maybe a simple reply of ''Thanks but no thanks'' would have sufficed. Cheers :smile:

Sorry for not being a club "insider". I mistakenly made the assumption that this place was for Carlton supporters to discuss issues surrounding the club. I now know it's for the most "in the know" folks with personal relationships with board members and the like to to lord it over those that have less access to official club information.

My mistake, and one that I won't make again.

P.S. You laugh at someone that uses an alternate football forum on a football forum. :confused:
