My favourite moments:

- Guts - White absolutely GIVING it to Crameri after he missed that easy shot in the last quarter. They'd been duelling all day, and Crameri was acting very Essendon***-esque & smug, acting like he'd won the grand final off his boot every time something went his way. What a juiced-up turd.
Fair to say White isn't my favourite player on the list, but he doesn't take crap from opposition forwards and he battles hard. Well done

- Glory - Bell and someone else (I forget who) lying on the ground and high-fiving wearily after the final siren. Great gut-busting team game all round.

- Commitment - Curnow coming back on the ground and giving it his all despite being in a mountain of pain. Inspirational game. Hopefully he has finally shut up the knockers on this site. Taggers aren't necessarily expected to be elite disposers - that's probably why he got molded into a tagger. He's one of the better ones in the comp right now. hope he comes back close to 100% before the end of the year.

Not the club's greatest win in the scheme of things,
but bloody hell it was important.

Go Blues :fight:

....and it was Crameri that came in late to push Judd in the back as he was kicking the ball, which ripped his hamstring...

Interesting replay. Crameri has hate in his face, when he pushes. Sheedy turned the Bombers into spiteful cauliflower when they play the blues. it goes way back to the 1960s and 1970s with Sheedy

Hard, committed tough football, and more attacking as well. A nice balance between the two.

Shame it took 4 weeks to come and I'm not sold by any stretch. A couple of things by Cripps suggests to me that he is leader material in the coming years, does lack pace which is a concern but as long as he can find the footy I think his positives will outweigh the negatives.

Wish we had two Hendersons in our side, he is critically important and may be required up forward. Desperately need an extra defender to come through and I don't think Watson has what it takes to be that defender.

What has happened with McInness?? When he first come on to the scene in 2012 (Ratts last year) he looked like a very likely type, a good 2-3rd defender, just a no-fuss, good defensive player. seems like he has lost all confidence or was he not that good to begin with??

Pretty hard for a young fella to get such a serious injury at the beginning of a career (knee reco). You get the feeling he is playing scared of being injured.

Sam Rowe tries hard but is C grade at best.

I think we could have some firepower and a midfield group to match West Coasts (Regarded we play with last week type intensity!!!) but i worry about our defence against a pretty formiddable West Coast forward line.

Game will be lost in the midfield. Unless can control supply to their forwards we are doomed. The loss of bell and curnow unfortunately tips the odds in Wce favor.

Glad we won BUT we still play a dumb style in that last quarter our kick in straight to a contest or a turnover , always kicking to team mates in difficult position.(rowe gets the ball no 1 around to hand ball so gets tackled).THIS HAPPENS ALL ThE TIME not only easter sun.

In defence of the players in that last quarter, they were short on the bench when Judd went off, and then Curnow was off.

Great effort in that last term to hold on. We could have been in trouble if the doggies nailed those early chances up forward.

Good team effort in the end. (problem with this group is that they have played like that before but can't or will not sustain it week in week out)

Agree cretylus but i have seen the same promblemsevery year, kick in from fullback to a contest,to a pack of players with more opp players ,kicking the footy to adv of opp, long bombs to our fwd line for turnover, like i said always kicking to a contest.Good teams create space which gives you more time thus you look more skillful ,WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR GAME.

Given we were down to 1 on the bench in the last quarter & still managed to win the quarter, that's a pretty good sign.
