The "What’s in a name? Everything, by George" article on the CFC website contains more than one error - can you name them?

Didn't the Harris Progress party come to power in late 1964 and Menzies had already resigned as PM when the Social Club was officially opened?

The beast writes dozens of articles without mistakes and they get glossed over and largely ignored.

Writes one with a mistake and the TC police are all over it.

Sums this place up in a nutshell.

The george harris reference reminds me of my childhood after the 79 Grand Final my Dad Peter was a spruiker for the George Harris ticket that tore our club apart.

TYM take it easy. I quite enjoy the Beast's article. Thought the mistakes were quite glaring & certainly not reflective of previous accurate articles.

I'm more keystone cop than TC cop!

Pobody is Nerfect.

Would love to see more of the positives than the negatives talked about. Understand that mistakes should be shown. Just concerned about the balance. Not you personally, but it seems the positive is ignored and the negative enhanced. Which might make some people feel better about themselves but does nothing to help the club. Unless they back up resentment with positive action.

The positives are either deleted or met with apathy on here.

Mmmmm. Menzies was not still PM in 1968, and is that Ivan Rohrt in the picture, not Howard Houston. Not sure what round Brent C made h9ois debut but it was 1968 so I expect thta's right. What else?

PS Really like TDB's articles, one of the good guys and has done a great job of highlighting and preserving our history

Popped into the Social Club for a quick beer during cricket season to watch Stacky bat. Got a beer, sat down, immediately tapped on the shoulder by Howard.
He disapproved of my Adidas Romes being worn and requested I didn't flout dress code again. I so solemnly promised.
Stacky went out for 8 in the second over.
I left.
THE END.
