If Sticks wants SOS i have serious reservations. If SOS is the best suited to a role at the club - fine, but getting people back because they were great players is how we got 5 years of Ratts. And don't get SOS in any role that requires him to speak publicly. And list management/ recruiting at GWS would be the easiest job going. 27 first rounders in 3 years!

i reckon id prefer him over john barker as defensive coach. especially given i remember how well a young thornton was doing when sos was training him.

The idea of getting SOS back to the club is because of his role at GWS and how clubs are already targeting many of there 27 first round draft picks.

No one better person to help poach kids from GWS to Carlton than a club champion and former GWSS list manager.

Don't kid yourselves, SOS will not entertain the idea of coming back whilst Sticks has ant official role at the club.....These tow simply don't get along and dislike one another....Hopefully Stick and Swann both depart by years end otherwise the Club will remain stagnent for many more years to come...
