Season is far from done.

Scotland out / Graham in, will make almost no difference to our outcome so it is a mute point......

That's pretty dumb.

I got it...

We want 14th.

Do you still hold this brilliant view?

No, we will fight all the way, get to ninth, a position we have ridiculed Richmond for occupying but which all of a sudden looks attractive to some, get pick 10 or 11 instead of pick 5 or 6 and call the last seven weeks a resounding success.

I can't see the value in it.

I don't post very often, but sometimes people annoy me enough to make me bother.

Thankfully in the supporter circles I speak to face to face and hopefully within the supporters on here, people DO see the value in it. People actually prefer to see a few the club win the maximum possible games per year. People actually DO prefer to put what the MC judge to be the best possible team on the field each week. People actually DO prefer to finish 9th rather than 14th. Let alone the hope of 8th and at least one finals game to get excited about.

That doesn't mean not playing any kids. I'd live to see plenty of them get a run this year strategically where MC believe it increases our chance to win the game, not just for the sake of it.

People annoy you enough to post and you've only done it 14 times?

People annoy me enough to post and I think I've been annoyed about 8,000 times.

You should read more of Synbad's stuff you'd post more often.

If you insert the word, 'some' about four times into your post, it would be less annoying.

Some people here and in the wider supporter group actually do want to play kids instead of those who won't be here next year and end up with a higher draft pick if we lose. If that makes you annoyed, so be it but it's a fact.

Two wins against bogey teams in the last two weeks would ve given the boys some confidence.
Massive game this week. Have to exercise our demons from last year against GC. They pulled our pants down last year, so its time to show these little upstarts who's boss!
We have to put in a 4 quarter effort. Time for our taggers to earn their keep.
This season isnt done with yet!!

Right on!

I have a feeling that the last round against Port Adelaide will determine our fate.

Crows could do us a very big favour in the showdown in a few weeks

With 6 games left to play we shouldn't even be thinking about what draft picks we end up with, the club's focus needs to be 100% on winning as many games as it can for the remainder of the season.

We aren't gone yet in terms of a place in rhe finals and even if we do finish 9th then so be it, the players need to go out every week knowing that the expectation is to win games and they need to see that they are being given the best possible chance to do that through the best possible team being fielded with a view to what happens this year, the last six games of the year shouldnt be compromised with an eye on next season.

I'd rather we end the season on some kind of positive note so that we can actually look forward to the next season rather than see us slide further down. Finishing 14th this season can in no way be seen as acceptable for us. Pick 6 over Pick 10 is no guarantee of anything in terms of the future, making losses acceptable is guaranteed to negatively impact on our culture.

In addition to our game against the Power in rd23, the other extremely important game will be Adelaide vs Norf this week. Crows win = End of Norf's hopes. Brisbane suddenly becomes a threat then.

The Eagles v Crows game in Rd23 will be super crucial also. A Crows win could make things very tight.
