To me it's strange to see that the President and CEO both sit on the match committee... yeah... nah... what do I know

Wonder how it's done at other clubs?

What, a post from BBW critical directly or indirectly of MM. Who would've believed it? Not sure what the stats are, but whatever you say about the coaching panel, you can't call them conservative. We've played just about everyone on the list this year. Played a lot more young players this year (without being forced into it by injuries like we were last year). Laidler and Duigan can't get a game. A conservative coach like Ratts would've kept playing them. Joseph would have played a lot more. Probably Davies as well. But under MM, this year's MC keep putting games into young players like Cachia, Bootsma, Lucas, etc.

Thanks Doc.

I was moved to ask because MM keeps making comments like, "if the match committee do their job...", which made me wonder whether he was on it.

Do those sort of comments suggest some good debates take place at MC level or it just MM wind up?

Malthouse wind up.

The other members of the Match Committee are honorary positions.

Shouldn't the coach of the vfl team be a part of the match committee?
