re: Waite...big call to trade a father and son pick but I an understand where Synbad is coming from...very frustrating player who really hasnt changed his method of operation or output....spasmodic brilliance mixed with dumb decision making and injuries. I think he is a 3rd tall forward rather than a KP player and doesnt play the KP spots with much authority or know how as he has been thrown there out of desperation.

Bit late to trade him and I think we have to make better use of his talents by finding some KP talent so he can work with the structure rather than be relied upon to be a main part of the structure.

If we can shake out one of GWS's first round picks with Waite I would be inclined to take it, or perhaps engineer a trade with GC for someone like Charlie Dixon (that one unlikely I know).

It's going to be a long off season with crap like this being thrown around.

There is no way we are going to trade Waite. We are pretty close to matching it with the big boys right now. Getting a draft pick for one of our best is not taking us any closer to 17.

Yep, yep and yep . About time someone made some sense.

Good on you Mr A. (sorry, not you Agro)

We don't have the luxury of a plethora of quality talls to be considering trading Waite....he is our best KPF!

I'd be open to trading Waite for the right price. If his faults are so obvious you're not going to get a 1st round pick for him.

One of the worrying things about watson is at his age most kids are trying to put weight on he has to work to take weight off and sculpt his body.
Its unnatural for a kid to be trying to stream his body down at that age because it's naural course is to get bigger.
If watson is reading this he shouldn't be angry with comments.
He should find the right attitude to work harder than everyone else to his body and mind afl right.
On levi I think he is too slow and his defensive and ground work game will stop him at the highest level.
A guy like sam reid is the kind of tall teams need.

Not that he will be reading this, but you wrote he is a bust...can't see why anyone would get upset at that

I can't see the logic myself either. His best fit would be an established list challenging for a shot at the flag that is a bit light on for talls... :?

i just havent seen any other outstanding qualities

Reads the incoming ball well; reasonably quick in a straight line. Has shown a propensity to develop his 1-on-1 work and fitness.

He's not some uncoachable lump; he's a developing player.
