It's not really Mick at 60 that concerns me gents.

It's more how will he be travelling at 85 when our window opens again

I think with some smart trading/drafting targetted at changing and hardening up the team culture we can be genuine top 4 in 2-3 years

I think most us realise now that we need to rebuild and won't be winning the premiership this year or next

Everything needs to go right for us to win in the next two to three years, that includes minimal injuries to mask our depth problems

Our best chance is to snag ourselves a big fish over the free agency/draft period, especially if it's a key forward

Obviously, need to also top up with good draft picks, with particular emphasis on good kicking skills under pressure. Hopefully, Graham and Menzel go some way to unearthing some quality to look forward to.

No disrespect but players like Curnow (who tries really hard) are not premiership players. His looping kicks make me cringe.

I've been a good supporter for a very long time so don't start questioning my loyalties

simply being realistic with my thoughts

we are average as we actually haven't achieved much in 18 years

Wasn't personally aimed at you Wow just everyone in general, you may have assumed that as you were the last post before mine. At the risk of creating a storm in a teacup, certain elements on here can be compared with the Peoples Front of Judea or is that the Judean Peoples Front?....everyones does a lot of talking but nothing ever gets done. Nothing personal just stirring up some action it's so boring just reading the same old stuff everyday. Seriously the Collingwood people don't bag their team as bad as you guys. Seriously is anyone here on the inner sanctum? If the answer is no why bag Mick when you have no idea what goes on in there, you don't know who is crook, or has personal issues, depressed, on drugs, drunk or whatever, I am sure Mick is doing what he is doing for a reason. Let him coach and you guys support. After all it's only a game.

Yes, thats when we cheated the cap, bought whoever we wanted and totally disregarded the rules.
Unfortunately we also had 25,000 members and were on the way to massive debt and the darkest period of modern times.

I dunno but I'm guessing treating supporters like mushrooms and allowing the club to be run without question isnt a great idea.
Of course John Elliott might disagree.....

Not saying treat them like shrooms more so too many cooks spoil the broth, but then again if everyone put their 10 cents worth in we'd be out of debt

We should try recruiting Simon black in 2014 if possible. I have a feelings that he would make a very good midfield coach.

I suspect he'd figure highly in our midfield as a player

Forum Open Letters are such silly concepts - if you have a message you think it important enough you should send it on to the CLub.

So I printed out your post, signed it as "TC", and will send it in the mail tomorrow.

Couldn't agree more. When pointing the finger there are always 3 other fingers pointing right back.
