Areas to work on, our stoppage work is still average and we're still struggling to contain the opposition on kick outs. West Coast scored 3 of their 7 goals from kick outs. A poor result.
Negatives, the Carlton crowd jeering Hampson when he took a mark. Disgraceful. The bloke may be struggling to hold his marks but he's creating a contest and he's busting his arse. Pathetic to see supporters treat one of their own players in that manner.

I was in invited to a pre match luncheon by the "coterie group",the Carltonians.Also invited were the Henderson parents.We were introduced as the parents of Lachie and Andy by the MC,and asked to speak as parents ,and relate how it felt to have a son playing for "this great club".We where presented with reserved seats amongst this"coterie group".
What transpired was the most embarrassing ,drunken tirade directed towards Lachie yet witnessed.
His parents(After speaking at the dinner),were horrified.
My reaction as a Dad was predictable,to the point whereas my wife pleaded with me to remove myself from the area,due to my volatile nature.
The outburst on Lachie was just after the fev trade.
Rarely do I share these experiences as a player parent,this one needs to be shared.
How valuable is Lachie now?
The Carltonians and any supporters with a false sense of entitlement need to support the player as if that person is your own flesh and blood, because that is essentially what they are.
