I was so impressed with Warnock. He was fantastic with his ruck taps and his work without the ball, shepherding well off the ball every time he had a opponent near he blocked. Was great at the 1% and work around the game.

For mine, Warnock is our best true ruckman, will be interesting to see what CFC do when Kruzer is back. I reckon they will play both if Warnock keeps playing this way and Kruzer will rest forward half the game. Kruzer isnt great at tapping, who knows where it goes if he gets his hands on it.

We have literally been smashed in the midfield against Richmond, Pies and Geelong. All starts in the ruck. 2/2 with Robbie.

Agree that Warnock is our best tap ruckman & isn't uselees at ground level like Hammer. Pity he can't take a mark for an entire game. We need to keep him in the side as No. 1 Ruckman, get hiom to clunk a few marks and work out how to get the best out of the other two.

The Age stats said Warnock had 14 possessions - 10 of which were contested!

And he did some nice bear hug tackles that no-one gets out of.
Nice to see.

Laidler is an interesting one. Surely MM sees him being in the side soon. He was probably our first picked defender in 2011. Is it just form/fitness or does he really want him to go forward at times?

i hear that mm doesnt rate Laidlers pace across hb.. but not sure if its cos of the injury or not.
Laidler is struggling big time atm

Collingwood have had a very, very quick defence over recent years. So could very well be something in that.
