No. Just the way I see it developing. Interesting everyone has an opinion but no side?
I am looking at development and structure. McCarthy is progressing well. Is tall and mobile and with another pre season and 5-6 kilos he will fill that role perfectly. Jamison isn't in because I believe he will really struggle with injuries and I don't believe he is our best KEY defender in a premiership side. If anything I think he will be challenging Laidler for a spot.
Touhy will develop into a strong mid with great disposal. I see Bootsma becoming and on baller ala Fyfe. Just has time and awareness and a touch of class and will never be huge.
I believe a HB line of Yarran, Watson and Lucas will be unbeatable. Lots of run and attack. Gibbs and Bootsma to drop back and assist.
One ruckman is the best model and I think if Warnock can be fit he will be the best ALL ROUND ruckman but that is line ball. Mitchell or Casboult will be the back up.
If Waite is fit he could be a perfect sub. Can play tall or small and fill any spot. IF ROK is fit and firing his size and kicking is vital.
There will also be guys you are pushing such as McInness, Ellard, Dale, Hampson, Garlett, Kruezer, Rowe, Davies also pushing for spots.
Add to that a recruit in Boak (or similar) some quality kids, and we could be right in it!
