CARLTON stands to make $800,000 from its home game against Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday.
The haul is likely to be the biggest this year, given the amount of reserved seats already booked.
A crowd of more than 90,000 is expected and the MCC is pulling out all stops to fill its members' reserve.
It is still selling MCC visitors' tickets to ensure a capacity crowd, with the league determined supporters will not be turned away as was the case at past blockbusters.
At the start of the season the Blues had budgeted for a $500,000 windfall for an expected crowd of 80,000.
But the number of reserved seats sold and the expected crowd could push the profit to between $750,000-$800,000.
Carlton does not split gate receipts with Collingwood as it has in the past with other clubs, including Richmond.
Nice to see some $$$ roll in!
