What did Wayne Swan have to say?

Thought I heard him say that the budget had set aside 4 premiership points for them.

Robbo's mini-tackle

Robbo is fast becomming my favourite journo.

I'm not from Melb and only started watching game day this year (coz we are winning tough) and he seems to genuinely like us.

Am I right or don't I know him well enough?

Yep, me too. Not sure why there's so much vitriol toward him on this site. I can only assume it's because of something in some of his written work. Well not reading the Hun, I wouldn't know, but his TV and radio work is very good. He's on by far the best footy panel TV show - AFL 360, and he's very good and outspoken on the Ch7 Sunday morning thingy and on SEN when I've heard him.

And finally, if this article here is anything to go by, well I reckon most of us agree with pretty much all of it, including unfortunately the stuff about Kosi, Fisher, and Gilbert.

Milney.... yeah nah

A good fighting win against a side that has had the wood over us for the best part of the last decade.
They threw everything at us, which we knew they would, and we stood up. I just wish we could kick straighter for goal and not get into these positions.
Gibbs was terrific on Goddard as was Jamo on Riewoldt in the first half .
Carrots played his best game for the year, was unlucky not to get the NRS nomination this week  .
Hated the away jumper, would rather go back to the white one.
Setanta's last quarter saved the day, good to him back in the team.
Shame about Curnow, i guess Mclean will get his chance now.
I think the boys will enjoy the break, hearing JR being interviewed after the game he said that he was spent.
The real test will come against Geelong, just hope it is a hard game against the pies.

Leigh Montagna.... did the unthinkable by deliberately bumping Edd Curnow as he was walking to the bench in pain and holding his Shoulder.....

What a pathetic unsportmanship and low act

I don't mind testing someone out if they're trying to play though the injury, but when this happened Curnow was heading to the bench for treatment; he wasn't involved in play at all!

It was dog act, and Montagna's luck someone didn't try to put him in hospital.

He will die like a dog.

In St.Kilda's case, they go by this mantra...

When you want a woman...
you just take the woman
Why don't you just take her?

I'm only speaking for myself here, but this thread sums up my thoughts on the big man of football journalism.
