God I'm so flowering sick of hearing about the bombers and their recruiting genius.
How they "unearthed" Hurley and Heppel and Melksham. They were hidden under a rock.

Nowhere do people mention that the brave bummers were able to "discover" these gems by virtue of their flowering average ass performances the last 5 years

Yarran vs Myers...Mr Magic vs Mr C grade battler.....
Kruezer vs Bellchambers....Class vs good ordinary player...
Garlett vs Zaharakis.....A grade forward vs one anzac game wonder.....

Hurley and Melksham are quality but the bombers dont have the potential in that group that we do with players
like Yarran....his skills are superb and he could be as good as Andrew Mcleod if he can keep the attitide and intensty up.

Indeed, but to be pedantic you could argue that that is just mismanagement on our part rather than misfortune.

Cant beleive people were saying that the Bummers have 'depth to burn', and then point to spuds like Remiers, Gumbleton, Dyson, Quinn and a couple of other unknowns as good examples of how good their depth is... Give me a break!!

We nominate "spuds" as if to illustrate our depth, too. I think we have a better list than Essendon* but there is a lot of water to flow under the bridge yet. Sides and players have a tendency to slip underneath most people's radar.
