Don't let Doc Sherrin know; he's not a fan. I am though.
Do we have to revisit that again? I fully support his retention as a second year rookie. His learning curve is still huge, and he'd be under no illusion what to expect. Knows more about his body (which if he weren't in a professional environment he'd destroy), more about how to manage it during a season against men and most importantly what is expected of him during game time. Constant repetition is the key with this kid. Video analysis, quick ball handling, kicking on the run with balance, getting to every contest and keeping his feet whilst in the thick of it need constant coaching.
Players of his ilk are one of the reasons Alan Richardson is on board. I'd even get Diesel down to the club over summer specifically to work with Jaryd. He has potential. But he hasn't made it yet. Despite his father living vicariously through his son, if he listens to his coaches...he'll be fine. I for one will be a keen onlooker and if you're down again this summer Bondi - let's do training...I believe you owe me a latte.
Do we have to revisit that again? Yeah I owe you a latte or two.
I have kept a keen ear on Cachia because I haven't seen him since that preseason.
My mates and relo's tell me he's been very good; not elite.
Some on the forum posters have been impressed too.
It's about his hardness that impresses me, but I agree he needs more than that.
I don't like the sound of the DOA inuendo though; I think you just put me off.
Not another dad living through his kid.
I will be there in the preseason.
I will make an effort to catch up with you.
I will look to sponsor a player.
I will attend more home games than interstate games in 2011.
I will have to make more money in 2011.
I will continue to barrack for and support Tex too.
I will watch my team win a final with or wiothout Cachia.
I wish I was young again, so I can really stake a claim in the seniors at the Seagulls or the Zebras with a view to being discovered by WH.
Doc, I didn't know that Cachia would be retained or fail in 2010; he just looked good during the preseason.
AFAIC, if he hasn't got what it takes, he's taking up a spot on the list.
Congratulations to him making it thus far, along with the other young lads.
