The second ruckman being just a specialised ruckman will become redundant with this rule. With only 3 blokes on the interchange bench you could not go into a game with a Warnock/Jacobs combination. The relief ruckman will now have to play a significant role somewhere else on the ground. I believe the rule will force our hand on Kruezer becoming a forward and pinch hitting in the ruck. At this stage I don't see Warnock, Hampson or Jacobs capable of making a consistent significant contribution in any other position on the ground other than ruckman.
