It all looks rosy when all 4 big men are fit and able to play but seriously how often does that happen in a season. You can back it in that one of the 4 is always injured. If they all want to stay I think the 3 plus the versatile Special K is a good thing. To be able to have 2 of the 3 always fit and firing for every game would be a huge bonus. If one is abit sore then give him a rest for a game.

Spot on. If they all want to stay then keep them all. We know what Kreuzer is capable of so just need to manage his return correctly. No pressure there if we have the other three available. We know that Jacobs and Warnock are ruck men but with Hampson we're still not 100% that Ruck is his best position.

I disagree with the above. Hampson is a ruckman only.

As for keeping all four, I am a fan of them all and each of them bring a different style to our side. However, we have a list with obvious holes and if the opportunity to improve those then we need to be aggressive. If we were to receive a first round pick or a young talented CHB then I would jump at it. We need to keep developing and improving and to do that we need to take emotion out of it and Hampson and Jacobs may be the only real tradeable commodities we have.

Although as I said ONLY for the right deal.

Also, hopefully we can trade Thronton hopefully for a second rounder and Walker may be worth a late first round or second rounder. Add these to pick 18 and we could add some great additions to our list!

Whilst I do agree that Kruezer could potentially become a great forward option - I just dont see it happening.

He was recruited as a ruckman and I think he will remain so. 2011 may see him spending a little more time up forward because he is recovering from his knee but long term he is our no.1 ruckman.

No doubt Sammy sees this and thinks to himself that his opportunities could potentially be restricted and therefore will probably look at other options.

It is disappointing I agree - but probably not a bad problem to have!

Jacobs' value is rising by the day with all this speculation so I am still quietly confident that a Jacobs/Trengove straight swap could eventuate...

I'm sure many of us would not say no to that for our long term future

Whilst I'd love to keep all our players, we have to accept that the other clubs wont give up a Ferrari in exchange for a skateboard. (Vossy excluded)
If we want to trade for quality, you have to give up something substantial in return.

and that goes for next year too when GWS is rumbling about.

I reckon with young rucks on our books, new teams coming and old teams in need we're in a good position hold out for absolute gold.

I agree TP but I would offer up 3 or 4 others before any of the 4 big guys. Hammer and Sauce are just about to hit their straps after 4 years. The other 2 pick themselves. The 3 or 4 others have been already or are replaceable with what we currently have on our list.
